The Coles County Democratic Central Committee was established on October 1, 1974, and is made up of the Democratic precinct committeepersons of Coles County, Illinois — neighbors lawfully elected or appointed under Illinois law (10 ILCS 5/7-8) to organize their communities.
Ever since, we've worked to elect Democratic candidates at every level of the ballot — from municipal offices to county government, the Illinois General Assembly, statewide office, and the United States Congress and Presidency. We are a volunteer-driven, grassroots organization: our members and volunteers knock doors, register voters, staff phone banks, run text and postcard campaigns, host community events, and recruit and support candidates who share our values.
